And they're off!

Sorry I have sort of been on hiatus recently. I have been at lacrosse camp at UVA for a week, and have been a very busy girl soaking up the sun! My family and I are finally leaving for D.C. in the morning right after we drop sCe off at her big sisters house (not her real sister, her sorority sister... i'm the only sister she has :) ) I am so excited to go to D.C. because we haven't been there since March! We go often now becuase my sister goes to college very close to there. As i've mentioned in previous posts, I absolutely adore D.C., especially Georgetown. I love the Rugby store, and Vineyard Vines. I can't wait to stop in the new Georgetown cupcake store and try them out! I've heard they are fantastic, and who doesn't like a cupcake?!

Today sCe and I headed to T.J. Max to check out what they had. We haven't been there in a while, and was so happy to see that they had several Lilly things. I bought a Lilly shirt dress, it fit perfectly and just could not pass it up! Here is a picture of me in the dress (also shown on sCe's blog):
The best part about this dress is when you turn up the cuffs, there is tie-like material with with a white and pink pattern!

I had the best ice cream in the world today! If you love coffee ice cream, you will die for Hagen Daz Five ice cream. It's Five because it has five ingredients: skim milk, cream, coffe, eggs, and sugar. Out of all of the ice cream I have ever tried (and believe me, I've tried a lot) this is the best coffee icre cream!

Well I'm off to get some beauty sleep for my great weekend that lies ahead! Have a good weekend to all!

Okay so i know this isn't going to be the most exciting post, but i got bored.

Last night I saw the movie Defiance. I liked it alot, I guess you could say i'm into that stuff. This movie was a true story about the Bielski brothers who fleed Bellorussian and built a camp for Jews and begin to arm themselves against the Germans. I thought it was very good but a bit heartbreaking. I also am a fan of Daniel Craig he has been in 2 of the James bond movies so far and has done a good job. I reccomend you see this movie if you like war movies or the WWII era.

I am currently reading the book The Price of Admission by Daniel Golden. I usually just read whatever book my dad is finished reading because I like his taste in books but at first I did'nt think i would like this book, I thought it would be boring; it is at some points but i think its very interesting. This book is Based on two years of investigative reporting and hundreds of interviews with students, parents, school administrators, and admissions personnel (some of whom risked their jobs to speak to the author) The Price of Admission exposes the corrupt admissions practices that favor the wealthy, the powerful, and the famous. I don't know it I reccomend this but if it sounds interesting to you check it out.

I am kind of in a love hate relationship with blogging right now. I sort of dread posting, but when I finish the post I like what I did and can't wait for comments and followers and what not.

sum up of my summer... so far.

Today I went grocery shopping and we found the coolest fruit ever. They are called pluots. It's a plum and an apricot mixed like a grapple. They are delicious.

I just found out about these cute sandals that my sister told me about. They are Jack Rogers, you probably know what they are, I love them now. I ordered a pair of the silver and can't wait for them to come!

Today I had a golf lesson and diving practice; I have a diving meet soon i hope to do well at it even though it's no too important it still means i do my best.

I am leaving for lacrosse down south next week. I hope I learn alot and improve and have alot of fun too!

This summer we are going to georgia and Washington D.C. I am so excited D.C. is like my favorite place ever. Absolutly love it there. It's so pretty and really warm there in the summer. I love shopping there and adore eating out there. I almost think it's better than going to florida or an island. I don't really know why I like it SOOO much but I do.

We go to Georgia every summer and sometimes for thanksgiving. Our lake house is there. It's nice to go there and relxax. It's beautiful down there. I like to take night boatrides and go on the jet ski. We cook amazing food when we are there. i cant wait every year i count down the days.

Friends, Family and Fun!

Sorry I havent been on here in while i've been pretty busy Because I just got out of school and have been trying to hang out. I had a bonfire the other night with some of my girlfirends, it was so much fun. we took alot of cute pictures and made delicious brownies. I also had a sushi date with a few friends. We went to our favorite sushi place close by! I got California rolls and Shrimp Tempura rolls. They were to die for! I can't wait for another lunch outing with the girls. (I'm the one in the teal jacket.)

I have started golfing and diving on my summer teams. I'm having so much fun. We had father daughter golf tournament this past weekend at our country club. Me and my dad did pretty well and had a great time. I won longest drive, and got a gift card to the pro shop! For fathers day we got him shorts from Murray's Toggery Shop and we also got him some soap from Bath and Body Work's that he loves. (Picture from my sisters blog, Summer Wind.) It's graduation season as I'm sure you all are away. I've been to 2 already, and have a couple more to attend. What are your favorite things to give to college grads? I normally give a card and some money, but some great ideas include:

Meet Me cCm

Hello fellow bloggers! My sister sCe has just recently made a blog and told me about it. I think it's such a cool thing and decided to make one as well, that way my sister and I can keep each other up to date on our lives while she is away at school. To start off, I am just about to finish my freshman year in highschool. Here are some things you should know:
-I play golf and lacrosse, I dive and ski too!
-Mac is our family pup and he is the cutest puppy in the entire world!
-My favorite fashion item is my Ralph Lauren rugby polo and my RayBan Wayfarers

Today I studied for finals becuase they are coming up on Monday. My parents were shopping this morning and brought me back birkenstock sandals. I've been wanting them for a while, I know they're not preppy, but they're great reliable sandals that I can walk in. I also got a Coach scarf that is so cute, it has tons of different colors on it. My friends came over tonight for a girls movie night. We watched Twilight, our favorite! I hope everyone enjoys my new blog! Have a great night!
